DEADLINE: Postmark or email no later than June 1, 2024.

Alternates will be selected in case the selected candidate is unable to attend. All applicants will be notified of the results by e-mail. All candidates must be a member of a Percheron Family (breeder/owner) or involved in working with Percheron horses. There is no age limit, anyone interested can apply. The committee will select the applicant that would best represent the Percheron breed and the Association at the National Percheron Show in Indiana.

The selected candidate is required to attend all four days of the National Show and must be available to present awards and perform other duties as determined by the show management and/or Association officials. The candidate will not be able to show horses or assist others in showing horses during the National Show. Your duties will consume your available time at the show. Appropriate dress is required. Remember, you may be called to ride on a winning hitch, requiring you to climb and step high. Wear clothing that is appropriate for showing and riding on hitchwagons. If you are selected, you will receive $500.00 following the show to help with your expenses.

Scheduled to return to the Indiana State Fair, Indianapolis, Indiana, Thursday, August 10 through Sunday, August 13, 2023.

Hitch classes will begin Thursday, August 10. Halter classes will be held Saturday and Sunday, August 12-13.

We are seeking a co-sponsor for the National Percheron Show Queen/Ambassador. If you are interested and able to match $250 please contact, show committee Chair, Jim Kerwin, jkerwin@percheronhorse.org.
